There are several quick ways to make money off your beer hobby!
1. Write about beer.
Craft Beer is a website created by the Brewers Association to spread beer joy far and wide. It’s always looking for writers to tell stories about America’s best breweries.
To pitch, you’ll fill out some details and social media information online, plus your story idea. Rates vary by article, and you’ll work out the details with the site’s editor when they assign a story. Learn more and see how to pitch here.
2. Talk about beer.
Minibar Delivery is a wine, beer and liquor delivery app — so you can get full bottle service without putting on pants.
It’s hiring full-time, work-from-home customer service reps to answer alcohol-related (or induced) questions from customers. You should know your booze, but be able to lay off it during business hours. Pay is $15 an hour plus benefits. Learn more here.
3. Work for others who enjoy a lot of beer.
A hangover idea that actually happened, Morning-After Maids is a New Zealand-based cleaning service with a bonus. It helps customers avoid the house-cleaning of shame after a rager — plus makes fast-food runs, brews coffee and even cooks breakfast.
Its proprietors bring in about $1,000 a month doing the work as a side gig. Not a bad deal!
